We are a boat hire agency based at the Puerto Deportivo de Fuengirola. We put boat trips together, hire out jet skis and watersports kit, and organise activities for groups.
The fleet is not all in Fuengirola: the small boats and the activities go from here, and the large boats are moored in Puerto Banús, Estepona and Málaga. We say so on every page because it changes where you have to turn up.
What we do not do: we do not issue boat licences and we do not issue fishing licences. We can explain which one you need and where to get it, but the paperwork is yours.
Boat hire in Fuengirola: who we are, in a few lines. Alquiler Náutico is an agency with an office at the Puerto Deportivo de Fuengirola, local 367. We organise boat trips, hire out jet skis and water sports kit, and run activities such as parasailing, the banana boat and dolphin watching.
The fleet has 30 boats, from 4 to 31.7 metres, spread across five marinas on the Costa del Sol: Fuengirola, Puerto Banús, Marbella, Estepona and Málaga. The office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 18:00, and you are welcome to come and see the boats before booking.
Fuengirola is the base: the boats you take with a licence, the boats with a skipper, the jet skis, the water sports kit and the activities all leave from here. Puerto Banús has the two largest yachts, of 21.7 and 31.7 metres, the 24.1-metre schooner, three fishing boats and the 12.2-metre sailing boat.
Marbella marina has the 11.5-metre catamaran for 12 passengers; Estepona, a 21.8-metre yacht for 10; and Málaga, the 23.7-metre catamaran that takes up to 100 passengers. Each boat leaves from the marina where it is moored, and the exact boarding point is always confirmed when you book.

In July and August it is worth booking several days ahead, especially the single 4-metre boat, and weekend trips. From October to May there is nearly always space from one day to the next, and the sea is usually calmer in the morning than in high summer.
A life jacket for each person on board, the compulsory safety equipment checked before leaving, and the boat's insurance. Trips without a skipper also include a briefing of about ten minutes: handling, anchoring, mooring and the authorised navigation area.
And one condition that applies to the whole catalogue: if the weather forecast does not allow a safe trip, the date is changed at no cost. What varies from trip to trip is fuel, catering and mooring fees in other marinas, and that is agreed before booking.
